Our mission at Minera is to educate the world in the value of building on top of Bitcoin.
We are strong believers in Layer 2 solutions like Stacks, in helping to unlock the value and liquidity of Bitcoin as an asset.
Our goal is to provide meaningful data and analytics contributions on Stacks Mining to the community and increase awareness of the value in Proof-of-Transfer.

Who are we?

We are a team of four with a background in finance, economics, cybersecurity, and data science passionate about decentralized finance and building on top of Bitcoin.
We will be looking to provide Stacks mining data and diving deeper into the economics of Stacks mining and the potential implications to Stacks prices.

Why is it important?

Miners are one of the participants in the proof-of-transfer mechanism that enables Stacks.
More participants in this process will result in a more secure, decentralized network.
The increase in miners will increase the stacking yield for stackers which will increase the appeal to Stacks to the broader market.
This will drive the increase in Stacks price which can usher in a new era of growth with new users and new ideas.
